Designing for this event comes easy since everything it stands for is inspiring to me; supporting local farmers, bringing community together and the freshest of locally grown foods. This is my favorite event to go to during the summer on my lunch breaks to load up on far more food than my husband and I could possibly eat within a week. Juicy and flavorful fruits and vegetables, gorgeous flowers, grass-fed meat, delicious bread and much more.
After recently rebranding the market, we stocked up on canvas totes and t-shirts that all emphasize the organic and local style the new logo represents.

This previous summer, I volunteered to take the lead for planning the recipes and designing on the weekly newsletters. My team decided it would be beneficial to feature a specific food item, a vendor that sells that particular food along with a recipe. To my surprise, I fell in love with cooking nutritious meals and my family's lifestyle has improved tremendously.
